What is Gift Aid?
Gift aid is a UK government scheme designed to encourage individuals to donate to charities by granting tax relief (both to the charity and, in certain circumstances, the donor) on donations of money. UK charities can claim back the basic rate tax paid on donations. This means that for every £1 you donate, we receive £1.25. If you’re a taxpayer in the UK, Gift Aid may be available in connection with your donation to Education 4 Everyone (or another UK charity). If you are a UK donor, we will e-mail you asking if you pay tax and if so offering you the opportunity to completed a Gift Aid Donation Form to enable us to claim back the basic rate tax.
