Help by Hosting an Event
Hosting your own fund-raising event means that you will have a lot of fun whilst helping Education 4 Everyone to continue carrying out the important work the Charity is doing. You can start raising funds today. For help follow our step-by-step guide and feel free to contact us for help and advice.
Step 1 – Decide what type of event you would like to hold: choose an event you, your friends and family would like to do. Try and be as creative as possible and if you need some inspiration download our ‘A to Z of Fundraising Ideas’ -> click here…
Step 2 – Set a date: give yourself enough time to prepare and advertise your event and make sure it does not clash with any major events in your local area.
Step 3 – Find a suitable location: ask if you can use the venue for free or at least whether they offer a charity rate. Make sure the venue is easily accessible and suitable for people with disabilities. Remember to keep your event legal and safe, guidance and advice on how to do this can be found here – Keeping Fundraising Events Legal and Safe -> click here…
Step 4 – Promote your event; start by inviting family, friends, neighbours and colleagues then spread the word using the local media and social networking sites. Education 4 Everyone can help you by providing media contacts and promoting your event as well.
Step 5 – Enjoy the event and raise money: organising fund-raising events can be a stressful but ultimately rewarding experience. Make sure you, as well as your guests, enjoy the event as you raise as much money as possible for us and don’t forget to thank those who attended.
Please send Education 4 Everyone any media [photos or video] of your event which the Charity can use in promotional material. If you require any assistance in passing the funds you raise to us, please contact us.
Do you shop online? If you do why not shop through easyfundraising.org.uk and raise a free donation for Education 4 Everyone every time you shop! You don’t pay any extra than you would go direct to the retailer’s websites and there are a wide range of retailers offering. For more information click here.
How could your organisation help the work of Education 4 Everyone and put our work at the heart of your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)? You might sponsor the building of a new classroom for a school or provide feed for our Riding Stars Project. For the organisation providing sponsorship it provides excellent PR and CSR opportunities with little effort as the Education 4 Everyone’s staff will manage the projects.
If your organisation would like to support a particular type of project, for example providing ICT facilities or making a school more self-sustainable through the introduction of renewable energy, Education 4 Everyone can fit your requirements to one of the projects the Charity supports.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss a potential sponsorship agreement, please contact us.
